The Bolo Project

The Bolo Project is a remote infrastructure initiative supporting the Lullumb and Mudnunn communities in the Kimberley. The project aims to deliver access to clean water, reliable sanitation, and culturally appropriate infrastructure that supports daily living, education, and tourism.

The initiative will directly benefit 40 community members across both communities, while also supporting a Cultural Learning Ground that serves 300–400 people and a seasonal visitor area that welcomes over 800 tourists annually.

iSupplyAU is not seeking financial support. Instead, we respectfully request guidance, and donated products and services from Corporate Australia to assist with the successful deliveryof this project. In return, iSupplyAU will provide Kindness Certification—a formal acknowledgment that enables organisations to record their contributions as measurableactions aligned with their Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) commitments.

Mission Statement and Purpose:
iSupplyAU is an Indigenous-led organisation dedicated to practical, community-first infrastructure development that supports cultural preservation, environmental sustainability, and improved health outcomes. We co-design solutions with Traditional Owners to support on-Country living and economic empowerment through culturally aligned delivery.

Specific Location Details:
• Lullumb: 5 homes
• Mudnunn: 4 homes
• Cultural Learning Facility: for 300–400 community members
• Tourism visitor area: 800 visitors per season
Project Summary / Problem to Solve
There is currently no clean water source, sanitation system, or reliable infrastructure to support community residents, learning environments, or cultural tourism. These gaps present daily challenges to health, cultural programming, and economic opportunity.

Request:
iSupplyAU respectfully requests the support of Corporate Australia to help bring this project to life. Specifically:
• Technical advice on water system and filtration design.
• Donated materials, including:

1000m of 50mm Blue Line piping
Bore-compatible water filtration & treatment system
2x 90,000L water tanks
Modular toilet and shower blocks
Plumbing fixtures and connectors

iSupplyAU will provide Kindness Credits confirming an organisation contribution toward reconciliation goals outlined in its RAP.

1. Water Use
• Purpose: Water will support drinking, household use, and sanitation
(toilets/showers).
• Access: Initially through communal taps and tanks; individual connections planned as a future stage.
• Cooling: Not essential; natural cooling sufficient.
• Filtration: Not yet identified; advice is being requested.
2. Existing Bore
• Status: Operational but requires upgrades; community-managed with Traditional Owner approval.
• Approvals: Prescribed Body Corporates (PBCs) have granted permission.
• Land Ownership: Aboriginal Freehold, managed by Lullumb and Mudnunn Aboriginal Corporations.
• Water Quality: Historical data shows reasonable quality.
3. Cultural Gathering Area
• Location: Identified and mapped; existing fibro houses with steel frames on site.
• Sanitation: Toilets to be installed at Lullumb and connected at Mudnunn. Modular and culturally sensitive designs are required.
• Sewage: No existing infrastructure; standalone septic/greywater systems required.
4. Permissions
• Permissions are in place; strong Traditional Owner involvement.
5. Local Capabilities
• Local Involvement: Bolo will assist with delivery and lead experienced and
enthusiastic locals.
• Compliance: Not currently registered for compliance sign-off; seeking partner
support for certification.
• Local Workforce: 5 capable local workers available.
6. Electricity / Energy
• Current Source: Petrol generator.
• Proposed Upgrade: Solar power system; seeking guidance.
7. Other Considerations
• Site Visits: Open and encouraged.
• Female Tradies: Welcomed; cultural briefings will be provided.
• Volunteer Engagement: Includes cultural learning sessions on-country.
